Governance, Ethics & Compliance Framework

The International Technical & Industrial Research Association (ITIRA) operates under strict governance principles, ethical protocols, and regulatory compliance standards. Our framework guarantees that all research evaluations, institutional accreditations, and collaborative industrial initiatives maintain the highest levels of integrity, transparency, and accountability across our international network.

1. Governance Architecture

ITIRA’s governance model ensures independent oversight, strategic alignment, and balanced representation across academia and industrial sectors worldwide.

Governing Bodies & Mandates
  • General Assembly & Board of Governors: Defines the long-term vision, approves major strategic initiatives, and oversees institutional policy updates.

  • Executive Committee: Manages day-to-day operations, international secretariats, and inter-organizational partnerships.

  • Ethics & Integrity Advisory Panel: Maintains independent oversight of peer-review standards, conflict-of-interest declarations, and scientific protocols.

  • Compliance & Audit Board: Conducts regular internal and external audits to ensure financial, legal, and operational adherence to international regulatory standards.

2. Research Integrity & Code of Ethics

ITIRA is committed to upholding uncompromising research ethics in both fundamental scientific research and applied industrial R&D.

Core Ethical Pillars
  • Academic Rigor & Reproducibility: All technical dossiers, research papers, and technical models submitted to ITIRA must meet standardized criteria for data accuracy, methodology transparency, and experimental reproducibility.

  • Anti-Plagiarism & Intellectual Property Protection: ITIRA enforces zero tolerance for plagiarism, data fabrication, or unauthorized IP usage. All submissions undergo automated cryptographic and text-matching verification.

  • Conflict of Interest Transparency: Evaluators, peer-review panel members, and board officers are required to declare any financial, institutional, or personal conflicts of interest prior to participating in dossier reviews or grant decisions.

  • Responsible AI & Technology Application: Guidelines mandate the ethical deployment of artificial intelligence, automated engineering systems, and biotechnology, emphasizing safety, human oversight, and societal benefit.

3. Dossier Review & Compliance Standards

To maintain international credibility, ITIRA enforces a transparent, multi-stage compliance verification process for all evaluated dossiers and institutional applications.

Compliance Stage Scope & Verification Oversight Body
Stage 1: Preliminary Screening Administrative checks, plagiarism screening, eligibility verification, and IP clear-check. Secretariat Office
Stage 2: Technical Peer Review Multi-disciplinary expert evaluation using ITIRA’s standardized Scoring Rubric. Peer Review Panel
Stage 3: Ethical & Legal Audit Compliance check against international safety, environmental, and ethical guidelines. Ethics Advisory Panel
Stage 4: Accreditation / Certification Final verification, scoring normalization, and official dossier entry into the ITIRA registry. Compliance Board

4. International Regulatory & Data Compliance

ITIRA operates in compliance with international legal, environmental, and data safety standards:

  • Global Data Protection (GDPR & Data Privacy): All user data, submitted research dossiers, and peer-review records are handled under strict encryption and global privacy frameworks.

  • Environmental & Safety Compliance: Industrial projects and engineering designs must comply with international environmental sustainability goals (ISO standards, carbon footprint regulations, and green engineering practices).

  • Whistleblower & Grievance Mechanism: ITIRA provides a confidential, anonymous reporting channel for reporting ethics violations, research misconduct, or procedural non-compliance.

5. Allegations & Misconduct Enforcement Process

ITIRA takes all reports of research misconduct seriously.
